The answer to the trivia question posed above is: "No, there is no Trivago - Busqueda de hoteles application". However, I have seen this asked and I must say it is a good one. I am not sure why it is asking me this but its quite funny as it says exactly what the application does. As for the software itself, it is available for free on Google play, it requires android devices and is very easy to use. It basically allows you to make reservations at a number of local hotels in Spain, by entering your location you can search through all of the available hotels, their prices, star rating, category, interior photos etc.
I have found that the free application does pretty good at keeping track of my travel records, however the paid version takes it a step further. I have been in Spain many times and the free application does let me know where I have been, but the paid version lets me know that Spanish hotels I have stayed in and I have detailed information about the location, cuisine, and star rating. So now not only can I find a good and cheap hotel in Spain, I can also keep track of my travel records and the places I have stayed in, with great detail. It makes my traveling much easier now.
If you want to download the application just go to Google play and search for Trivago - Busqueda De Hoteles. The application has been downloaded a lot of times and it is always on my phone. Also, if you download it onto an iphone, you can use it anywhere in Spain and also in any country of Europe. There are several language options, in English, Spanish, German, French, and Italian, so you can choose the one you most comfortable with. This application truly makes traveling much easier, especially if you have not traveled much or if you are a complete beginner.
